the typical ravines of this region, is the perfect place to experience authentic Tuscany. An ancient furnace fully restored, our agriturismo combines our love for nature with high-level hospitality.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
Agriturismo La Fornace was born from a family passion passed down through generations. Our history is rooted in the love for our land and territory.
Our philosophy is based on sustainability and respect for the environment. For this reason, Agriturismo La Fornace is fully energy self-sufficient thanks to solar panels. The accommodations are built in compliance with the rules for maximum energy efficiency: thermally insulated and equipped with ventilated roofs. In addition to being sustainable and eco-friendly, our structures are also perfect for living in every season of the year. We also provide for the recovery of organic materials with a dedicated composting system.
We want every guest to feel welcomed and pampered, which is why the two structures are tastefully furnished with great attention to detail.
The Apartments
The property consists of two separate apartments, Fornace 1 and Fornace 2, each equipped with all the necessary for our guests’ stay. They offer a cozy retreat where you can relax and recharge. Both have undergone careful renovation, combining the timeless charm of classic Tuscan architecture with the functionality and clean lines of modern design. Together, they can accommodate up to 9 people and, being close to each other (but not too close), they are often chosen by groups of two families or friends who wish to share a relaxing vacation. The two structures are separated by a beautiful lawn and a lily pond, another small gem of our property.
FORNACE 1
A delightful apartment amazing equipement, combining the charm of traditional Tuscan farmhouse architecture with modern design elements.
It consists of a spacious kitchen equipped with every comfort and a large living room where you can rest on quiet summer afternoons and warm up in winter by the wood stove. There are two double bedrooms with private bathrooms.
Completely independent, it has a reserved outdoor space with a table where you can dine with an extraordinary view of the famous ravines.
FORNACE 2
Here too, we have chosen a design decor without losing the taste of Tuscan tradition.
It consists of a spacious kitchen equipped with every comfort, where you can try cooking traditional dishes; a comfortable living room with a wood stove, two double bedrooms, and a lovely loft that can accommodate an additional guest.
Completely independent, it has a reserved outdoor space with a table where you can dine with an extraordinary view of the famous ravines.
INFINITY POOL
Guests of the property have access to an elegant infinity pool overlooking a breathtaking panorama. The perfect place to cool off in the summer heat, surrounded by the beauty of nature, where you can relax with an aperitif at sunset or observe our spectacular starry nights.
Weddings, Ceremonies, and Events
Surrounded by nature yet close to the town center, Agriturismo La Fornace is the ideal place for small events or ceremonies. Easily reachable by car or commercial vehicles, it offers a large lawn where you can set up refreshments, and its location makes it the perfect place to celebrate until late at night without disturbing anyone.
